This newsletter is where I put my posts on AI, ML, statistics, economics, legal and policy issues, and occasionally other topics. A few years ago, I retired from a 25-year career on Wall St, where I worked for major banks in quant and non-quant roles. Before that, I was a Fed economist for about 5 years. I have a PhD in economics, a masters in applied math, and an undergrad in physics. I’m spending a lot of time these days trying to understand the new AI/ML technology, science policy in general, and other economic or legal issues. These posts chronicle my own reactions and conclusions. I hope they may be useful for you too.
